 Done Walks - Policies & Procedures

 

Reservations & Payment

    •    Reservations should be made at least 10–14 days in advance. Requests with less notice may incur a $25 rush fee. Please note that holiday bookings fill up quickly, so plan ahead.

    •    New Clients: A complimentary Meet & Greet is required before the first service. This meeting lasts 15–45 minutes.

    •    Existing Clients: Payment is due on the first day of service and can be made via cash, check, or bank transfer.

 

 

Cancellation Policies

    •    Daily Dog Walks (Monday–Friday) for Regular Clients:

A 72-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid charges. Full payment will be charged for cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled walk.

    •    Daily Pet Sitting Visits & Non-Regularly Scheduled Dog Walks:

Cancellations must be made no later than 8 PM the night before the scheduled service to avoid charges.

Same-day cancellations will incur a 50% fee, which will be invoiced and applied as a credit toward future services. The invoice must be paid before future services can be booked.

    •    Frequent Short Notice Cancellations:

If a client cancels three times with short notice (within 72 hours), they will be required to prepay for future visits. These prepaid visits will be non-refundable.

    •    Vacation & Extended Care:

No refunds will be issued for early returns, as we may have turned away other clients to accommodate your booking.

    •    Overnight Care:

Cancellations for overnight care must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Late cancellations will incur a full charge for the scheduled stay.

 

 

General Policies

    •    Emergency Contact (Pet Owner):

If you need to extend your trip unexpectedly, please contact us directly to confirm any unscheduled visits. Direct communication is essential to ensure your pet’s needs are met.

    •    Returning Home:

Upon your return, please contact Jennifer or Jessica immediately via call, email, or text. This is required so we can confirm that your pet(s) are safe and that we are aware you’ve returned home.

    •    Flexible Scheduling:

We are happy to accommodate your pet’s needs with flexible scheduling. A minimum of one daily visit for cats and two daily visits for indoor dogs without outdoor access is recommended.

    •    Inclement Weather:

In cases of inclement weather (heavy rain, high winds, lightning, etc.), walks may be shorter than usual for safety reasons.

    •    Household/Pet Supplies:

We ask that you provide sufficient supplies for your pet(s) (food, litter, treats, cleaning supplies). If additional supplies are needed, we are happy to make a store run at an additional charge for time, mileage, and cost of the items.

 

 

Additional Fees:

    •    Late Night Visit Fee:

An additional charge of $10 applies for visits after 8 PM.

    •    Holiday Visit Fee:

There is a $10 fee per visit on major holidays (Memorial Day, Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day).

    •    Extended Trip Discount:

Discounts are available for trips lasting 10 days or longer. Please inquire when scheduling.
